"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." - Revelation 21:4
George H. Boyd, 58, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2024. Born on December 13, 1958 in Jesup, Georgia, George was a beloved son, father, brother, grandfather and uncle. George was not only a dedicated family man but also excelled as a high school athlete, ranking among the top in the state. He bravely served in the navy, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to his country and community.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Q. and Rosene H. Boyd, his sister Cynthia B. Hooker, and his true love, Donna Boyd. He is survived by his son, Tyrell (Suzanne), daughter, Tristan (Jason), brothers, Phillip (Pamela), Mark (Frances), and his precious granddaughter, Raelyn. In this time of sorrow, we find comfort in the words of Revelation 21:4, where God promises to wipe away all tears and bring an end to pain and suffering for those who believe in Him. Although George may no longer be with us physically, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
George Boyd will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, kindness, and strength will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in eternal peace.
