AUDRA BROOKS-ROBERTS Obituary

Audra Michelle Brooks-Roberts  born November 18, 1966 was a beautiful soul whose love, wisdom, and gentle spirit touched everyone blessed enough to know her. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, cherished daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and loyal friend. Audra had a special gift for making people feel seen, valued, and loved. Her presence carried a warmth and light that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Audra was a woman who loved to teach. She believed in guiding others not only through words, but through example. Whether she was teaching someone about life, how to carry themselves as a lady, how to have confidence, how to be a loving mother, wife, or simply how to be a strong woman, she shared her wisdom with patience and grace. She listened deeply, understood people well, and always seemed to know the right words to say at the right time.

She had a spark about her that was truly one of a kind. Audra’s gentle nature and compassionate heart made people feel comfortable, beautiful, and appreciated. Watching her grow into the remarkable mother and grandmother she became was a blessing to witness.

When raising her children, Audra believed in giving each of them the same foundation of love, guidance, and values. She made sure they all had the tools they needed to succeed in life. At the same time, she taught each child something special and individual whether it was how to properly clean, fold laundry, cook a good meal, or simply take pride in themselves and their home.

Her daughter-in-law, TeaAnna, said it best: Audra taught everyone different things so that they would always need one another. One person might know how to do something the other did not, and that would bring them back together. In this way, she quietly built a family that supported and leaned on one another.

More than anything, Audra loved her children deeply. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she made sure they always felt her love.
