God came in a humble and caring way and took one of his beloved children home. March 20, 2020, Mr. Eddie James Walker, Jr., went to join the Savior in that home not built with hands, but whose Maker and Builder is God.
Mr. Eddie James Walker, Jr., was born March 1, 1958, in Burke County, GA, to the parentage of the late Mr. Eddie James Walker, Sr., and the late Mrs. Beulah Mae Walker.
Eddie gave his life to God at a young age, becoming a member of St. Clair Missionary Baptist Church. He was joined in holy matrimony to Carlin Lewis in 1976. To this union, one
daughter was born.
Eddie was a graduate of Lucy C. Laney High School, Class of 1976.
Eddie was employed for 20-plus years as an Inspector with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: one devoted daughter: Yalinda (Keto Morgan, Sr) Walker of Augusta,GA; three sisters: Annette Bostic, Pearl (William) Brown of Augusta, GA, and Janice Shubert; three brothers: Mose Walker, Freddie Walker of Augusta, GA, and Lorenzo Styles of Waynesboro, GA; three grandchildren: Martiese Williams,Jr., Alan Jones, and Keto Morgan, Jr., all of Augusta, GA;two great-grandchildren: Maison Williams and Martiese Williams III, all of Augusta, GA; bonus children: Gwendolyn Hampton, Ronnie Hampton, Aleshia McCladdie, and Lizzie Patterson; a devoted cousin: Delois Walker of Augusta, GA; a best friend: Michael O’Neal; a special friend Tina Lakes and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
