Geoffrey David Johnson III, affectionally known as “PHAT” was born November 17, 2006, in Augusta, Georgia to the parentage of Geoffrey David Johnson II and Shaina R. Johnson. Geoffrey departed this life Sunday, September 11, 2022 at the tender age of 15.
Geoffrey attended Richmond County Schools, Richmond County, Georgia; Meadowbrook Elementary, Glenn Hills Middle and Glenn Hills High Schools.
Geoffrey was exceptionally intelligent with many gifts and talents such as producing, engineering, writing music, rapping, singing, playing drums, football and basketball. In addition to his gifts and talents, Geoffrey had a calm, warming, humorous personality, an infectious smile and an uproarious laugh. He was a visionary and creative leader in production and musical performances. He was often a voice of reason and an encouragement to many. Geoffrey was witty, courageous, and rather competitive. Geoffrey deeply loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was extremely protective of his grandmothers’ and aunts’.
Geoffrey dreamt of becoming one of the youngest, most influential producers in history as well as a professional football player.

Geoffrey is survived by his parents, Shaina R. Johnson and Geoffrey David Johnson II; four brothers, Charles J. Johnson (Papi), David S. Johnson, Cayden B. Lewis, and Jayden D. Lewis; one sister, Camille-Love’ G. Johnson, grandparents Shirley E. Johnson, Geoffrey David Johnson I, Shirley Fludd, Charles Fludd, who preceded him in death; Aunts, LaTonya V. Brown, Felicia L. Johnson, Jovonda P. Jones, Geonna D. Johnson, LaTasha Joyner Fludd, Shakeya Fludd, Shirlena Fludd, Danielle Fludd, and Latia Fludd; Uncles, Darryl Joyner and Daniel Fludd; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Two of Geoffrey’s frequent affirmations, “We’re gonna make it’ and “I love you” will forever be in our hearts.
