Kenneth J Bartley

Kenneth J. Bartley passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026. He was lovingly known as “Kenny” to his family and friends. Kenny was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who was deeply loved by his children, grandchildren, and family.

Kenny was known for his strength and resilience. He was a true warrior who faced many challenges throughout his life with courage. He also had a playful spirit that brightened every room he entered. He loved to dance, laugh, and bring joy to those around him. His presence and personality will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Clarice J. Thomas, and his father, Isaiah Bartley Sr.

He leaves behind his children: Johnny Thomas (Kristen), Aisha Bartley (Larry), Kenisha Bartley (Desmon), and Shakur Smith; and his beloved grandchildren: Niko Thomas, Evan Pankey, A’Miya Hunter, Samuel Wright Jr., Ayden Cato, Kennedy Cato, McKenzie Thomas, and Taylynn Roscoe.

He also leaves behind one sister, Christine Mason; two brothers, Isaiah (Delores) Bartley Jr. and Mack (Rosalyn) Bartley; close niece and nephews, Tayanna (Tevin) Bussey, Issac Davis, and Darren Davis; along with a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones who cherished him deeply.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that his fight is over and that he is now at peace.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the Georgia Hospice Team, Celebration of Life Funeral Home, Loretha Jones-Bell , and everyone who offered prayers, donations, calls, visits, and support during this difficult time.

We sincerely appreciate everyone who came together to honor and celebrate his life.
